Egyptians have habits on The Egyptian's Love Day which seem traditional but they are different.

The Egyptian husbands or fiancés present gifts to their wives or fiancées such as bouquets of flowers, teddy bears wrapped in red cellophane or decorated boxes of chocolate.

Kinds of those gifts were changed a lot due to different social and economic circumstances.

Expressing love differs from married people to those who are still betrothed or tied together in a love story.

Egyptian's wives making a dessert

A simple Egyptian wife would satisfy at making a dessert casserole and a fine meal admired by him.

He may offer her a bar of chocolate or a red rose.

They exchange romantic congratulations that contain more compassion.

Words of love may become trivial as the time passes meanwhile economic burdens prevent husbands or lovers from buying gifts.

For the betrothed Egyptian's people, presents seem more practical as they prepare for wedding and its needs. The fiancé may present a set of utensils or a decoration item to his fiancée. He may accompany her to a cinema theatre or escort her in a promenade on the Cornish of the Nile River.

The red teddy bear, best Egyption's gift

The great number of presents buyers are lovers as Valentine’s Day is considered as a great occasion to prove depth of love between them by exchanging presents.

Years earlier we were accustomed to watch shops draped in red teddy bear on Valentine’s Day.

But no one knows exactly why teddy bear was chosen as a symbol of that day and what is the message it delivers between the lovers. A lover may present his sweetheart a tape loaded with fine love songs or a hand written love letter.

As the economic and social conditions change, a post on Facebook, a social media platform, becomes one of the important means to exchange congratulations.

Lovers then boost their warm relationships in public by posting photos framed at flowers, red hearts or words of love as captions for those photos.

Flower shops decorate neighboring platforms and paths with ready bouquets of roses to attract lovers.

People with money change opinion towards presents on Valentine’s Day.

They dont consider roses and chocolate as main items so they do not choose a teddy bear but buy jewelry, silver, watched perfumes or an invitation to a fine restaurant to have dinner at candle light.
