In Pics: Egyptians Celebrate Eid in London Islamic Cultural Centre

The Egyptian community in the United Kingdom performed Eid al-Fitr prayer at the London Central Mosque & Islamic Cultural Centre.

Sherif Kamel, Egypt's ambassador to London, attended the celebration that was organized by the cultural advisor Rasha Kamal thanks to her belief in the importance of communication on these special occasions.

Mervat Khalil, Chairman of the General Union of Egyptians Abroad in the UK, and Abdullah Helal, Vice President of the Nubian Association, were also among the attendees. 

Following the prayer, Khalil wished the Egyptian ambassador and the community Eid Mubarak, hailing the remarkable efforts exerted by the whole team for the good organization and the large reception in the Cultural Center.

Moreover, she affirmed that the Egyptians were enjoying the experience as they celebrated the Day of Resurrection (Yawm al-Qiyamah) a few days ago, after which were the Sinai Liberation Day, Sham El-Nessim, Labor Day, and now; Eid Al-Fitr.

Having done with the celebration, the members of the General Union presented wonderful gifts to the children on the happy occasion, bringing joy and delight to the present kids and their parents as well.
