The Government of India welcomes a 12-member Egyptian youth delegation visiting India from 26 November to 3 December 2025 under the India–Egypt Bilateral Youth Exchange Programme.
The programme is a vital component of the growing strategic partnership between the two countries and reflects the deep cultural and people-to-people ties that continue to strengthen bilateral relations.
The primary objective of this exchange is to connect the youth of both nations and familiarize the visiting youth delegates with India’s advancements in emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, as well as developments in space research, education, innovation, and capacity building under the theme “Upscaling Youth Leadership in the Era of Artificial Intelligent”.
During their visit, the delegation will travel to Bengaluru, India’s premier technology and innovation hub. Their programme includes visits to leading institutions such as the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), and Indian Institute of Science (IISc), a These engagements will offer the delegates first-hand exposure to India’s cutting-edge research ecosystem and thriving tech industry.
The delegation will also participate in learning sessions at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU Baroda), where they will interact with faculty and students to exchange views on education, research, and youth development. In New Delhi, they will engage with key national institutions including NITI Aayog, and other government and youth-focused organisations. The programme also includes an interaction with the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports of India.
This visit underscores the shared commitment of India and Egypt to nurturing youth leadership and promoting collaboration in science, technology, and innovation. As two ancient civilizations with a modern, forward-looking partnership, the exchange highlights the importance of youth cooperation as a pillar of the India-Egypt Strategic Partnership.
The exchange of the youth delegation will further deepen mutual understanding, foster long-term collaboration, and inspire the youth of both countries to contribute meaningfully to global progress.
