Egyptian Security Services Exterminate 300 Acres Cultivated with Hemp

The Egyptian security services of the Ministry of Interior have raided several criminal outposts for drug dealers, smugglers, drug dealers, outlaws, and firearms holders.

Within a week, the efforts resulted in the opening of 1766 cases of drug trafficking, during which 1943 defendants were arrested.

The defendants possessed a large quantity of marijuana, weighing 14,598.7 kilograms, a quantity of hashish, weighing 718,482 kilograms, a quantity of cannabis seeds, weighing 300,245 kilograms, and a number of poppy seeds.

The security services also seized narcotic "opium", weighing 145 kilograms, a quantity of heroin, weighing 47,299 kilograms, an amount of estrox, weighing 17,560 kilograms, and a quantity of ice drug "chabu", weighing 7,511 kilograms.

The security campaigns exterminated an area of “300 acres, planted with the opium poppy plant, along with 14 acres planted with marijuana.
