Mohamed Ali, an Egyptian actor, launched a first-of-its-kind initiative to build a great link between Spain and the Pharaonic civilization.

Ali launched a huge Egyptian cultural academy at Barcelona city in Spain; which is specialized in Mediterranean studies beside the ancient Egyptian civilization.

As a next step, a massive university will be built in order to be a focal point between cultures in Europe and Africa.

The university is expected to be a global reference that establishes peace and propagate knowledge everywhere.

It also aims at reviving the three chimneys region near the mouth of Besos river at Sant Adrià, Barcelona.

This region is considered one of the most significant landmarks there.

On his part, Marius Ruberalta, the former president of the University of Barcelona and president of Spanish universities worldwide, said the idea of the new university is close enough to the Library of Alexandria.

“Barcelona; the beacon of the modern culture will reach out to the Alexandria; the beacon of ancient culture in Egypt,” he added.

“It will be built in the form of a pyramid; the most important symbol of the Egyptian civilization,” said Luis Alonso, director of the project's engineering office.

Rafael Salanova, the project advisor, pointed out that the project will be a great opportunity for future scientific researches and innovative work.

Research are supposed to be conducted in cooperation with international organizations affiliated to the United Nations (UN).

These organizations aim at promoting constructive dialogues between Mediterranean countries in order to put an end to any conflicts and bring peace to the region.
