Egyptian, Greek Navies Conduct Transit Training (Photos)

Within the framework of the General Command of the Armed Forces’ plan to raise the level of training and exchange experiences with the armed forces of the friendly countries, the Egyptian Navy and its Greek counterpart carried out a maritime training in the Northern Fleet.

The training included different activities that focused on training on exchanging the operational situation during the joint maritime operations, training on homogeneous work within a joint force responsible for the tasks of maintaining maritime security in order to confront threats related to the flow of global trade and freedom of maritime navigation in areas of common interest, and training on the method of Joint protection for a vital target at sea, in addition to the implementation of sailing formations and transportation exercises (wireless - visible).

The training contributes to exchanging joint experiences with the Greek naval forces and benefiting from bilateral capabilities to achieve the common interests, thus contributing effectively to maintaining maritime security and stability in the region.
