CAIRO, Dec. 15 (SEE) – “International education” is about applying the international standards of learning.. Many Egyptians from those living abroad are specialized in this kind of education..“International education” is the kind that can be applied wherever the teacher and the student exist.
The Ministry of Immigration recently invited some of the Egyptians specialized in international education to share their experiences with Egypt.This is expected through an upcoming conference titled “Egypt Can – by Education” organized by the Ministry in Hurghada on December 17and 18, in cooperation with the Ministries of Education, Technical Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The conference will be held under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.Among the most prominent Egyptian scientists abroad who are scheduled to take part is Dr. Almoemen Abdullah, head of the Department of International Education at Center for Studies and International Education Researches in Tokyo University.He is an expert in international communication and cooperation in education and scientific research.
He received his PhD from the Gakushuin University, Japan. He is an expert in Japanese Language and Literature, and Comparative Linguistics and Translation. He excelled in cultural dialogue between the Arab world and Japan, and international cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research. Dr. Almoemen is one of the few Arab specialists in Japanese language and literature.
He translated the biography of Fukuzawa Yukichi, pioneer of educational and cultural renaissance in Japan. He conducted as well a comparative study between Japanese and Arabic.Another distinguished invitee is Dr. Hanan Khalifa, head of Education Development and Strategic Partnerships Division, English Language Department, University of Cambridge.

She is an international researcher in the field of language teaching and mapping of educational methods. She designed examinations at the local levels, supervised international assessments and has been selected by the Council of Europe as a key expert.She leads research in language education (learning, education, and evaluation) at Cambridge Assessment, a pision of the University of Cambridge. Khalifa received IEAA Award for Innovation in International Education along with Professor Burns and Professor Brandon, and the Hornby Award for Teaching English. Dr. Alaa Abdul Aziz, President of the University of Prince Edward, Canada, and receiver of a Distinguished Leadership Award in International Education from Canada, was also invited to the conference. He was selected among 50 top CEOs, by the Atlantic Business Journal, for his efforts to develop the University of Prince Edward Island.

The University of Prince Edward Island witnessed significant development in program offerings, student services and infrastructure during his leadership.In addition, the focus on experiential learning and its globalization has broadened the access to the University.
He was awarded the Prince Edward Island Engineering Award for his vision of building the School of Sustainable Design Engineering, and the Canadian Office of International Education awarded him the President’s Award for Outstanding Leadership in International Education for two consecutive years, 2017 and 2018. He wrote more than 160 peer-reviewed articles which have been published in prestigious academic journy.
