Egyptian Duo Lose for Canada in Tokyo Badminton Event

The Egyptian duo, Hadia Hosni and Doha Hani, lost in the third round of the women’s badminton doubles group stage in Tokyo 2020 Olympic games.

The Egyptian duo lost to the Canadian duo Rachel Hondrich and Kristen Tsai in the two halves.

The first half ended 21-5 and the second half ended 21-6.

The Egyptian players had lost in the first round to the Japanese duo by two free-game matches.

With this result, the Egyptian players bid farewell to the Olympics after losing the first two matches.

It is noteworthy that this is the first time that Egypt participates in the women’s badminton doubles competitions in the Olympics.(MENA)
