CAIRO Jan. 22(SEE)- A medical journey extended for 12 years in Japan,
led to a discovery of a substance that can prevent pneumonia. This discovery
was made by Dr. Yasser Zahran, an Egyptian scientist and assistant professor in
laboratory of anatomy, histology and cells, at Hokkaido University, in Japan.
Dr. Zahran told to “SEE” that, his journey started in 2006 when he
traveled to Japan through a scholarship; then worked at faculty of veterinary
medicine at Hokkaido University and specialized in histology.
After 12 years of research, he discovered an immune system located in
thorax, from which he extracted a substance of lymphocyte installation, to
prevent pneumonia infection.
The Egyptian doctor mentioned that, experiments conducted on mice –with
organic structures similar to human beings- showed positive results.
Eventually, Doctor Zahran confirmed that the medicine made of the above
mentioned substance, will be available for all people within 3 years, to resist
respiratory system diseases like; respiratory sensitization, pneumonia and
angina pectoris.
It’s worth mentioning that Dr. Yasser Zahran was born in Al Sharqia
governorate where he lived for about 25 years before traveling to Japan.
