Egyptian-Cypriot military training drills "Ptolemy 2021" wrapped up, Sunday, in a military base in Cyprus with the participation of special forces from both countries.

The first phase of the exercise included a set of theoretical and practical lectures, with the aim of unifying combat concepts and refining the skills of the participating forces.

The exercise came as part of the Armed Forces' plan to exchange expertise and boost military cooperation with sisterly and friendly countries, as well as advance joint action with their Cypriot counterparts.

The conclusion of the drill witnessed training on various combat scenarios. Attack helicopters carried out combat airdrops for members of the special forces. Armored vehicles trained on raid operations with the use of live ammunition.
