EgyptAir Announces Operating Flights from Saudi Arabia to Cairo

EgyptAir announced on Monday operating a number of flights from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Cairo, starting from tomorrow, Tuesday, December 29, 2020, in accordance with the controls decided by the competent authorities in the Kingdom.

This comes in light of the instructions issued by the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation regarding operation a number of flights departing from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia decided to extend the suspension of all international flights and entry to the Kingdom through the land and seaports for another week over fears due to new Coronavirus strain, the SPA news agency reported, according to an interior ministry source.

The source added that Saudi Arabia’s government decided to take this step to continue assessing the current situation, and to ensure the safety of citizens and expatriates.

Moreover, the source confirmed on excluding the movement of goods, commodities, and supply chains, as well as allowing the departure of Non-Saudis through flights, in accordance with the precautionary measures adopted by the Ministry of Health.
