The starting XI are: Mohamed El Shenawy, Ahmed Fatouh, Mohamed Abdel Moniom, Ahmed Hegazy, Mohamed Hany, Hamdy Fathy, Marwan Attia, Emam Ashour, Omar Marmoush, Ahmed El Sayed Zizo, and Mostafa Mohamed.
Regarding the substitutes, they are: Mohamed Abu Gabal, Mohamed Sobhy, Omar Kamal, Mohamed Hamdy, Mohanad Lasheen, Yasser Ibrahim, Mohamed El Nenny, Ahmed Hassan Koka, Mostafa Fathy, Mahmoud Kahraba, Mahmoud Trézéguet.
The Egyptian national team need the victory over Cape Verde, which officially qualified for the knockouts after having two successive wins, to secure second place in Group B to be qualified for the next round.
