Egypt's wheelchair basketball team won the Arab Wheelchair Basketball Championship, hosted by the State of Kuwait with the participation of eight Arab countries.
Egypt won the final against Kuwait 40/41 and achieved the full mark in their group in the first round after beating Morocco, Jordan and Palestine.
The championship was held at the Kuwait Sports Club Sports Pavilion, under the supervision of the Arab Special Category Sports Federation and the Kuwait Wheelchair Basketball Federation.
Kuwait, Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, Morocco, UAE and Bahrain participated in the tournament.
The Egyptian delegation was headed by Eng. Amal Mobdi, member of the Board of Directors of the Paralympic Committee and President of the Egyptian Federation for Intellectual Disabilities, and the team is led by Adel Sherif as technical director.
