Egypt's U-23 National Football team is set to face Ghana's U-23 team in a friendly game on June 15.

The date was selected by Rogério Micale, the coach of the Egyptian team, as part of the team's preparations for the upcoming AFCON U-23 tournament in Morocco.

The top 3 teams of the tournament will qualify for Paris Olympic Games, while the fourth will have a qualifying game.

The Egyptian team is scheduled to have two friendlies, including Ghana's one, while the Egyptian Football Association failed to finalize the agreement with Guinea for a friendly.

Micale is examining other options for the team's second friendly.

AFCON U-23 tournament will take place between June 24, and July 8, and it will see the participation of eight teams.

Group A includes Morocco, Congo, Ghana, Guinea, and Group B includes Egypt, Mali, Cameroon, and Niger.
