Egypt’s U-17 national football team, led by coach Ahmed El-Kass, will begin their FIFA U-17 World Cup campaign in Qatar this afternoon, facing Haiti at in their opening Group E match.
Egypt will compete in Group E, starting today against Haiti, followed by matches against Venezuela and England on November 7 and 10, respectively.
Coach Ahmed El-Kass has held several meetings with his players, urging them to stay fully focused and give their utmost effort to secure a strong start that would ease their path to the next round.
Regarding Egypt’s expected starting eleven against Haiti, it is as follows:
Goalkeeper: Amr Adel
Defenders: Hamza El-Degwy, Nour Ashraf, Adham Farid, Mohannad El-Shami
Midfielders: Omar Kamal, Basel Medhat, Mohamed Hamd, Bilal Atiya
Forwards: Abdelaziz El-Zoghby, Hamza Abdelkarim
Qatar is hosting the FIFA U-17 World Cup from November 3 to 27, 2025.
This edition marks the first-ever expanded tournament featuring 48 national teams competing for the title.
