Egypt to See Hot Weather on Sunday: EMA

On Saturday, the Egyptian Metrological Authority (EMA) said that hot weather is predicted to prevail on Sunday during the day over Greater Cairo, the Delta, South Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt, moderately hot on the northern coasts, and very hot on southern Upper Egypt.

The weather will be mild at night in northern parts until northern Upper Egypt and moderate over South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.

Active winds are expected on Greater Cairo, northwestern coasts, and South Sinai. Mists expected in the morning on some roads leading to Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between one and 1.75 meters in height with northeastern surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height with northwestern surface winds.

Maximum temperatures for the following cities are:

Cairo: 31C, Alexandria: 29C, Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh: 34C, Qena, and Luxor: 40C, and Aswan: 41C
