Egypt to See Decline in Temperature by 9C on Tuesday

The weather is expected to witness a sharp decline in temperature on Tuesday after Egypt experienced in past days a remarkable increase in the temperature.

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that the country will witness a decline in temperature by 9-6 degrees Celsius, during daylight hours.

It is foreseen that hot weather will prevail in Cairo, which will be extremely hot in South Sinai, North and South Upper Egypt.

Moderate weather is predicted to prevail in the Northern coasts.

Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, predicted active winds will stir sand and dust from the north of the country to North Upper Egypt.

Light rain is predicted to prevail intermittently in the western coasts.

There will also be a chance of light to moderate rain, sometimes thunderstorms, hitting the south of the country, the Red Sea mountain ranges, and the far west of the country, at intermittent periods.

Pleasant weather is predicted to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and Northern coasts, at night.

It is also foreseen that moderate weather will prevail in South Sinai, North and South Upper Egypt.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 32C in Cairo, 22C in Alexandria, 20C in Marsa Matruh, 39C in Sohag, 40C in Qena, and 41C in Aswan.
