Egypt will face Brazil in a high-profile friendly match at 1:00 AM Cairo time on Sunday, June 7, in the U.S. state of Ohio, as part of their final preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The match is part of Egypt’s final training camp under head coach Hossam Hassan, who is leading the team’s preparation for the tournament hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
The game will be broadcast on ON Sport, which has secured the rights to air the encounter as Egypt tests itself against one of the world’s strongest national teams before the start of the competition.
Egypt have announced their final World Cup squad, featuring star players including Mohamed Salah, Omar Marmoush, Mahmoud Trezeguet, and Ahmed Sayed “Zizo,” alongside a mix of domestic and Europe-based talent.
Egypt national football team are drawn in Group 7 alongside Belgium, Iran, and New Zealand, with their opening match scheduled against Belgium on June 15 in Seattle.
