On Wednesday, Egypt condemned in the strongest terms the drone attack by Houthi militias in Yemen on Saudi Arabia’s Abha International Airport.

In a statement, Foreign Ministry has reiterated Egypt's full support and solidarity with Saudi Arabia's government and people in face of such sinful terrorist acts that threaten the kingdom's security and stability as well as the safety of citizens and residents on its territories.

The statement also added that such terrorist acts represent a direct threat to regional security and stability.

It is worth mentioning that, Saudi-led coalition engaged in Yemen said Houthi militias launched an attack on Abha airport in southern Saudi Arabia that caused a fire in a civilian aircraft that was brought under control, according to Reuters.
