Egypt stressed on Thursday the need to resume negotiations to reach a legal agreement on the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) according to the results of the African Union (AU) meetings that were held during the past few months.

This came during a virtual meeting between Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohamed Abdel Aati with Sudanese and Ethiopian counterparts.
