Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Migration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad, Badr Abdelatty, held a meeting on Tuesday with the leadership and staff of the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development to discuss strengthening the agency’s role and programs as a key instrument for implementing development projects across African countries.
The minister emphasized the importance of working closely with relevant ministries to continue implementing programs in training, capacity building, and knowledge exchange across diverse fields, including health, education, agriculture, water resource management, and energy. He also stressed the value of sending medical convoys and technical experts to African states, while calling for greater private sector involvement and the creation of innovative financing tools to support joint development projects that contribute to regional integration and national development plans in partner countries.
Abdel Ati underlined the need to ensure that these programs deliver tangible and sustainable benefits, with mechanisms for monitoring their impact in line with the national priorities of African countries. He noted that this alignment is crucial to strengthening the sustainability and long-term effectiveness of Egypt’s contributions.
