Egypt’s national team coach, Hossam Hassan, announced the squad selected for the upcoming training camp, which begins tomorrow, in preparation for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Djibouti and Guinea-Bissau.

Team manager Ibrahim Hassan confirmed that the national team camp will officially begin on Sunday, as part of preparations for the two qualifiers scheduled for October 8 and 12, corresponding to the ninth and tenth rounds of the African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
He added that the squad will travel to Morocco on October 6 to face Djibouti on October 8, before returning to Cairo on October 9 to resume training ahead of the Guinea-Bissau match on October 12 at Cairo International Stadium.
Egypt currently leads Group A of the African qualifiers with 20 points from 8 matches, followed by Burkina Faso in second place with 15 points.
