The Egypt national football team, led by head coach Hossam Hassan, will take on the Spain national football team on Tuesday evening in an international friendly at the RCDE Stadium in Barcelona.
The match forms part of both teams’ preparations for the FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Egypt approaches the encounter with multiple objectives, primarily gaining valuable international experience ahead of the global tournament.
The match will be officiated by Bulgarian referee Georgi Kabakov.
Egypt will head into the game on the back of an impressive 4-0 victory over Saudi Arabia in a recent friendly.
Following that win, Hossam Hassan expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance, highlighting the successful integration of new players and the return of key figures from injury.
