Egypt's government is set to inaugurate the largest MENA water plant in Northwestern Sinai near Arish city.
Egypt's authorities have been constructing the massive plant at a cost of US$97 million to meet the needs of all citizens of the governorate and to replace the water pump system.
It's expected that the plant will treat the water collected from the Mediterranean Sea, to be distributed to northern Sinai.
It will produce 100,000 cubic meters per day as a first stage, according to Egypt's authorities. In the second phase, it increases to 300,000 cubic meters of water per day.
