Egypt sees warm weather on Thursday, Cairo 21C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that the country will witness a rise in temperature and warm weather, during daylight hours on Thursday.

Warm weather is foreseen to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, North and South Upper Egypt. It is also expected that moderate weather will prevail in the Northern Coasts.

Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, said that light to moderate rain will hit intermittently in Baltim, Damietta, Port Said and Al-Arish.

Light rain is also predicted to prevail in Marsa Matruh, Alexandria and Rashid.

It is also foreseen that the country will witness mist on some agricultural roads close to water areas, leading to and from Cairo. The mist will also prevail in Lower Egypt and North Upper Egypt.

Extremely cold weather is predicted to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northern Coasts, North and South Upper Egypt, at night.

It is also expected that cold weather will prevail in South Sinai.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 21C in Cairo, 19C in Alexandria, 18C in Marsa Matruh, 22C in Sohag, 22C in Qena and 23C in Aswan.
