Egypt is set to be affected by a 2-day wave of unstable weather conditions, starting Wednesday, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said in a statement.
Moderately cold weather is also expected to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast during the daylight hours.
Warm weather is also expected to hit North Upper Egypt while South Sinai to face moderately warm weather and South Upper Egypt to experience warm conditions.
Winds will be active across the country. Meteorologist also predicts that the country will experience a decline in temperature by 2 to 3 degrees.
The country will also witness mist, extending into fog, on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.
Light rainfall to prevail in South Lower Egypt, Canal Cities, and Sinai.
Light to moderate rain will hit North Coast, North Lower Egypt, and Northeast Coast.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience extremely turbulent waves, ranging between 4 and 6 meters with northwest surface winds.
The Red Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 2 and 3 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Extremely cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt in the early hours and at the end of the nighttime.
There are a chance of light rainfall to hit Egypt.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 19°C in Cairo, 19°C in Alexandria, 18°C in Marsa Matruh, 23°C in Sohag, 24°C in Qena, and 26°C in Aswan.
