The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather will prevail in most parts of the country during Thursday's daylight hours.

Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in the North Coast.

The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, Canal Cities, North Upper Egypt, and Central Sinai, reducing visibility on some roads.

Wind speeds of between 30 and 35 kilometres per hour (km/h) are expected to occasionally affect South Sinai and the Red Sea governorate.

Meteorologists also predict that Egypt will continue experiencing a slight rise in temperature.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging from 1 to 1.75 meters in height, with northeast surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height, varying between northwest surface winds.

Moderately cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early morning.

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 29°C in Cairo, 24°C in Alexandria, 23°C in Marsa Matruh, 32°C in Sohag, 35°C in Qena, and 35°C in Aswan.
