The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather will prevail in most of the country during Monday’s daylight hours.
Extremely hot and humid weather is also expected to hit South Upper Egypt, and the North Coast experiencing moderately hot conditions.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, North Upper Egypt, Canal Cities, and Central Sinai.
Wind will occur occasionally across the country.
There is a chance of intermittent light rainfall in the Northwest Coast and North Lower Egypt.
Meteorologists also predict that the country will continue experiencing a slight temperature decline.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience light to moderate waves ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 2 and 2.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Maritime navigation is also expected to be disrupted in the Gulf of Suez, with winds averaging 40 to 60 km/h and waves ranging between 2 and 3 meters.
Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night, turning fall-like in the early hours.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 30°C in Cairo, 28°C in Alexandria, 27°C in Marsa Matruh, 33°C in Sohag, 35°C in Qena, and 36°C in Aswan.
