The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot to extremely hot weather will prevail in most parts of the country during Monday's daylight hours.

The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, Canal Cities, and Central Sinai.

Wind speeds of between 30 and 35 kilometres per hour (km/h) are expected to occasionally occur across the country, stirring sand and dust in El Salloum, Marsa Matruh, Siwa, and the New Valley government, limiting horizontal visibility.

Meteorologists also predict that Egypt will continue experiencing a slight rise in temperature.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1.25 and 2.25 meters in height varying between northeast and southeast surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 2 and 2.5 meters in height varying between northeast and northwest surface winds.

Meanwhile, maritime navigation is also expected to be disrupted in the Gulf of Suez, with wind waves ranging between 2 and 2.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early morning.

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 34°C in Cairo, 30°C in Alexandria, 31°C in Marsa Matruh, 38°C in Sohag, 40°C in Qena, and 41°C in Aswan.
