Egypt Sees Cold Weather on Sunday, Cairo 16°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts cold weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the North Coast, during daylight hours on Sunday.

Moderately hot weather is also expected to prevail in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt while the North Upper Egypt would experience hot conditions.

Meteorologists also predicted that the country will experience a decline in temperature.

Furthermore, dusty winds will occur occasionally in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, and North Upper Egypt.

It is also foreseen that moderate rain, sometimes thunderstorms, will prevail in South Sinai and the North of Red Sea Governorate.

There are also chances of torrential rains hitting in South Sinai.

Light rain is predicted to prevail in North Coast, North delta, and the south of the country.

Meanwhile, extremely cold weather is foreseen to prevail across the country at nighttime, reaching the point of frost in central Sinai.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 16°C in Cairo, 16°C in Alexandria, 16°C in Marsa Matruh, 19°C in Sohag, 22°C in Qena, and 25°C in Aswan.
