The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts cold weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Sunday.
Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in the South Sinai, South Upper Egypt, and the Red Sea mountain ranges.
It is also foreseen that the country will continue to experience a decline in temperature.
Furthermore, winds will be active in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coasts, and North Upper Egypt, at intermittent periods.
Light to medium rain is also predicted to prevail intermittently in the North Coasts, Lower Egypt, and central Sinai.
Light rain is also foreseen to hit Cairo.
Meanwhile, extremely cold weather is foreseen to prevail across the country at nighttime, reaching the point of frost in central Sinai.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 15°C in Cairo, 15°C in Alexandria, 15°C in Marsa Matruh, 17°C in Sohag, 18°C in Qena, and 20°C in Aswan.
