Egypt Reports 837 New Coronavirus Cases, 37 Deaths

On Sunday, Egypt’s Health Ministry reported 837 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country’s total up to 312413.

 

The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 17695 nationwide after the ministry announced 37 deaths.

About 903 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, raising the total number of fully-recovered cases to 263557.

Egypt plans to vaccinate 40 million citizens by the end of the year, representing around 40% of the population.
