Egypt renews its rejection of Turkey’s violating policies creating more tensions in the East of the Mediterranean.
On Saturday, Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry asserted, “Egypt rejects the policy of expansion and tension making followed by some parties in the region,” referring to Turkey.
During a phone call with the German Minister of Foreign Affairs Heiko Maas, Shoukry asserted Egypt’s continues cooperation and coordination with its neighboring countries for achieving peace and security for all peoples in the region.
According to an official statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both ministries discussed the status of the East of the Mediterranean and strengthening the exerted efforts to obtain the region’s stability especially after the late-raised tensions.
