Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, received a phone call, on Wednesday, from Mr. Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, to discuss the latest regional developments and coordinate joint efforts between the two countries.
The two ministers exchanged views on the progress of negotiations between the United States and Iran, within the framework of close coordination and continuous consultation between both nations, and the joint efforts exerted to achieve de-escalation.
During the call, the ministers emphasized the necessity of pushing for a swift resumption of negotiations between the United States and Iran.
Moreover, they noted that such progress is vital for reducing escalation and ending the conflict, especially given the gravity of the current situation and its implications for regional peace and security.
