Egypt, Pakistan Discuss Regional Developments by Phone

Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty held a phone call with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to discuss the latest regional developments and ongoing coordination between the two countries.

During the call, the Pakistani minister briefed Abdelatty on recent talks between the United States and Iran held in Islamabad, as part of continued efforts to reach understandings amid rising regional tensions.

Both sides stressed the need to continue joint efforts to support diplomacy, promote dialogue, and pursue peaceful solutions to prevent further escalation and maintain regional stability.

The Pakistani minister praised coordination between Egypt, Pakistan, and Turkey in addressing the situation, while Abdelatty commended Pakistan’s role in hosting the talks and its efforts to reduce tensions.

The two ministers agreed to maintain close coordination in the coming period and intensify efforts to support de-escalation and uphold the ceasefire.
