The request of the Botswanian team came after a late arrival of the Botswana's delegation from Mauritania for urgent reasons, as a result of a problem with the official sponsor of the team’s flight.
Botswana's team was scheduled to arrive, Monday's midnight, but due to the crisis, their arrival was delayed.
For its part, The Botswana Football Association asked CAF to postpone its upcoming match against the Egyptian national team, and the team is awaiting an official response from CAF.
