The Egyptian national team just concluded its second and final training session, which began at 1:00 PM on Monday, before departing for Morocco at 5:00 PM to face Djibouti in a World Cup qualifier. The technical staff, led by Hossam Hassan, decided to conduct two training sessions before departing, with the Pharaohs holding their final training session on Tuesday.

The Pharaohs' roster includes 24 players: Goalkeepers: Mohamed El-Shenawy, Mostafa Shobeir, Mohamed Sobhi, Abdel Aziz El-Balaouty; Defense: Mohamed Hany, Ahmed Eid, Rami Rabia, Khaled Sobhi, Yasser Ibrahim, Amr El-Gazzar, Hossam Abdel-Majeed, Mohamed Hamdy, Ahmed Nabil Kouka; Midfield: Marawan Attia, Hamdy Fathy, Mohand Lasheen, Mahmoud Saber, Ahmed Sayed Zizo, Mahmoud Trezeguet, Ibrahim Adel, Mohamed Salah, Mostafa Fathy; and Attack: Osama Faisal and Mostafa Mohamed.

The injury caused the absence of several players from the squad, including Omar Marmoush, Mohamed Abdel-Moneim, Mohamed Shehata, Nabil Emad Dunga, Imam Ashour, Salah Mohsen, and Mahmoud Abdel-Hafiz Zlaka.

The Egyptian national team will face Djibouti and then Guinea-Bissau on October 8 and 12, in the ninth and tenth rounds of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
