On Wednesday, the first national football team's coach Rui Vitoria will conclude his preparations for the first 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying game against Djibouti.
The game will take place on Thursday.
Last week, Vitoria announced the lineup of the Egyptian players for the first two games in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Djibouti, and Sierra Leone.
The lineup of the upcoming national team's games is as follows:
GK: Mohamed El-Shennawy (Ahly), Mohamed Sobhi (Zamalek), and Ahmed El-Shennawy (Pyramids FC).
Defenders: Mohamed Hany, Mohamed Abdelmonem, and Rami Rabia (Ahly); Omar Kamal (Future FC); Mohamed Hamdy, Ali Gabr, and Ahmed Sami (Pyramids FC); Ahmed Fattouh (Zamalek).
Midfielders: Tarek Hamed (Ittihad Jeddah – Saudi Arabia), Marwan Attia (Ahly), Mohamed Elneny (Arsenal – England), Hamdi Fathi (Al-Wakrah SC – Qatar), Mahmoud Hamada (Pharco FC), Emam Ashour (Ahly), and Ahmed “Zizo” Sayed (Zamalek).
