Under the directives of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Egypt has intensified its humanitarian support for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, conducting daily aerial deliveries of essential aid on March 26 and 27.

This initiative reflects Egypt’s dedication to alleviating the humanitarian crisis resulting from the continuous military activities in the area.

Working in close coordination with Jordan and leveraging support from international allies, Egypt's efforts are focused on the northern parts of Gaza, ensuring the provision of much-needed food and relief supplies. Notably, Egyptian and United Arab Emirates military aircraft have been deployed from El-Arish airport for this critical mission, marking a significant mobilization of resources and solidarity.

The backdrop to this operation is Egypt’s longstanding commitment to supporting its Palestinian neighbors. Located at a strategic crossroads in the Middle East, Egypt has historically played a mediator role, advocating for peace and stability in the region. The current humanitarian missions are part of a broader strategy to engage the international community in addressing the immediate needs of the Gazan population, while also working towards a long-term resolution to the conflict.
