Early this morning, Egyptian Red Crescent dispatched the 105th "Zad Al-Izza: From Egypt to Gaza" convoy, featuring a fleet of trucks carrying urgent humanitarian aid toward the Gaza Strip as part of its ongoing efforts as the national mechanism for coordinating aid to Gaza.
On its 105th day, the "Zad Al-Izza" convoy included more than 5,670 tons of comprehensive humanitarian assistance, consisting of over 2,900 tons of food baskets and flour, approximately 1,500 tons of relief and medical supplies, 30 tons of water, and about 1,240 tons of petroleum products.
The Egyptian Red Crescent intensified the delivery of essential winter supplies to Gaza, which included more than 1,560 blankets, about 11,350 pieces of winter clothing, and approximately 3,650 tents to shelter those affected, reflecting continuous Egyptian efforts to support the Palestinian people in Gaza.
It is noteworthy that the "Zad Al-Izza: From Egypt to Gaza" convoy, launched by the Egyptian Red Crescent, originally began on July 27, carrying thousands of tons of diverse aid including food supply chains, flour, baby formula, medical supplies, therapeutic medications, personal care items, and tons of fuel.
