Egypt Joins Talks in Pakistan to Address Regional Crisis

Senior officials from Egypt, Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia held a high-level meeting in Islamabad to discuss ways to reduce regional tensions and restore stability.

The Egyptian delegation was led by Ambassador Nazeih El-Nagary, participating on behalf of Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty. The talks brought together senior officials responsible for political planning and crisis management.

Participants stressed the importance of achieving security and stability based on international principles, including respect for state sovereignty, territorial integrity, non-interference in internal affairs, and the right of peoples to self-determination.

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar hosted the meeting, where he briefed officials on Islamabad’s efforts to mediate between the United States and Iran.

Discussions focused on practical steps to move forward with de-escalation, contain the situation, and support efforts to restore peace and stability across the region.

The meeting reflects ongoing coordination among key regional players seeking to manage escalating tensions through diplomatic channels.
