CAIRO, Feb. 20 (SEE) – As part of the celebration of Egypt-France Cultural Year, Dr. Enas Abdel-Dayem, minister of Culture, agreed to allow the Cairo Opera Orchestra under the supervision of its artistic director Iman Mustafa, to Paris to present a concert at the Oratoire du Louvre on Wednesday.

Egypt's Ambassador to France, Ehab Badawy, Culture Counselor of the Egyptian Embassy Nevin Khaled, Press Attache Racha Abdel Khalek, Trade Attache Gamal Faisal, Defense Attache Naval Brigadier General Osama Saleh, Paris 1st Zone Mayor Francois Le Garet, famous opera singer Caroline Douma and a number of French public figures are expected to attend the concert this evening.
The Egypt-France Cultural Year is being held
under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and will continue through
2019.

Abdel-Dayem said that the celebrations of the
year of Egypt - France aims to consolidate the bonds of love and friendship between
the two countries and confirm the important role of culture and arts in
building bridges of communication among peoples.
She pointed out that the exchange activities
include a rich program that transcends noble values and lofty meanings in
Egyptian and French societies.

It is worth mentioning that the concert's
agenda includes performing famous song of Sayed Darwish "Ana El-Masry",
which means I'm the Egyptian, and the Arabic melody "Ainak lo'lo'tan",
which means in English Your Eyes Are Pearls, composed and distributed by Hisham
Khalaf.
The agenda also includes a number of Nabolitan songs and selections from the most famous international operas including Carmen, Tosca, Don Carlo, Samson and Dalila.
