The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderate weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, North Coast, and North Upper Egypt during Friday's daylight hours.
Moderately warm weather is also expected to hit South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
Winds will be active in South Sinai and the south of the country.
The country will also witness mist, extending into fog, on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Canal Cities, North Coast, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.
Light rainfall will prevail in North Coast and Lower Egypt, at intermittent periods.
It is also expected that maritime navigation will be disrupted in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez with winds averaging 40 to 60 km/h and waves ranging between 2:3 meters.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low waves, ranging between 0.5 meter and 1.25 meters in height varying between southwest and northwest surface winds.
Extremely cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt in the early hours and at the end of the nighttime.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 20°C in Cairo, 20°C in Alexandria, 20°C in Marsa Matruh, 23°C in Sohag, 25°C in Qena, and 24°C in Aswan.
