The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northeast Coast, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Thursday.
Moderately hot weather is expected to hit Northwest Coast, while South Upper Egypt, Red Sea mountain trail, and South Sinai experiencing scorching conditions.
Wind will occur occasionally in most parts of Egypt.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height with northeastern surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwestern surface winds.
Moderate weather is also predicted to prevail across the country, at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 33°C in Cairo, 29°C in Alexandria, 29°C in Marsa Matruh, 36°C in Sohag, 37°C in Qena, and 39°C in Aswan.
