The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicted Sunday that a wave of unstable weather will hit the country for three days, starting Wednesday until Friday.
The authority expected cold and rainy weather to prevail in the country accompanied by wind activity.
EMA also unveiled its forecast for the areas the bad weather spell is predicted to hit, as follows:
- Wednesday
The experts predict that moderate rain will prevail in the Northwestern Coast, while light to moderate rain will hit Lower Egypt.
Winds will be active in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northern Coast, Central Sinai, Canal Cities, and North Upper Egypt.
- Thursday
They also expected that moderate rain will prevail in the northern coasts, while light to moderate rain will hit Lower Egypt.
Winds will be active in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northern Coasts, Central Sinai, Canal Cities, and the South of the country.
- Friday
The experts added that light rain will hit Lower Egypt, which extends to moderate rainfall in the northern coasts.
Winds will be active in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northern Coasts, and North Upper Egypt.
