Egypt Denounces Terrorist Attack on Educational Center in Kabul

Egypt strongly denounced, Sunday, the terrorist attack on an educational center in Kabul, resulted in multiple deaths and injuries.

In an official statement, Egypt's ministry of foreign affairs offered its deep condolences to the Afghan government and the families of the deceased, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.

"Egypt categorically rejected all kinds of terrorism, violence, and extremism," the statement added, stressing solidarity with Afghanistan in this tragedy.

It is worth mentioning that, a suicide bombing at an education center in Afghanistan's capital Kabul killed at least 18 people and wounded dozens more on Saturday, according to security officials.

A Ministry of Interior spokesman Tariq Arian cited security guards as identifying a bomber who detonated explosives in the street outside the Kawsar-e Danish educational center.

Eighteen people were killed and 57 were injured in the attack, according to the interior ministry.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the bombing.
