On Friday, The Egyptian men's handball team captured its second victory in the 2025 IHF World Men's Handball Championship.
The Egyptians defeated Bahrain 35-24 in the tournament that is being hosted by Croatia, Denmark, and Norway from January 14 to February 2.
The first half ended with a score of 16-11 due to the impressive efforts of goalkeeper Karim Hendawy, Ahmed Hesham Dodo, and Mohsen Ramadan.
Early this week, Juan Carlos Pastor's side opened their world championship campaign by defeating Argentina 39-25.
The match against Argentina also featured impressive performances by goalkeeper Mohamed Aly, Mohamed Sanad, and Yehia Khaled. Additionally, Ali Zein was named the best player of the match.
