Egypt calls for immediate cessation of Israeli settlers attacks in West Bank

Egypt calls for an immediate cessation of attacks by Israeli settlers in a number of Palestinian villages in the occupied West Bank, as these attacks left a number of Palestinian civilians injured, in addition to the destruction if a large number of properties without interference by the Israeli authorities, Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday. 

The statement added that Egypt affirms its rejection of acts of intimidation and collective punishment targeting Palestinian citizens.

Egypt stresses that it had previously warned of the dangers and repercussions of the continuous escalation by Israel, the latest of which was the storming of the city of Jenin two days ago. 

Egypt also stresses the need to immediately break the existing cycle of violence in order to stop bloodshed, and to prevent further deterioration in the security situation, and so that the de-escalation efforts by the regional and international parties can achieve their goals.
