On Monday, Egypt claimed an easy 4-0 win over Comoros in the last round match at home.

Egypt’s national football team took another successful step in the AFCON qualifiers after beating Comoros FC 4-0 home in the sixth round.

Four first-half goals by Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, Mohamed Afsha and Arsnal midfielder Mohammed Elnenny  granted last Quaifir's runners-up a precious three points to continue their perfect start of the group stage campaign of Africa's nations competition.

Pharohs' dominance continued in the significant minutes as Mohamed Sherif sent a perfect pass to Mohamed Salah, who cleverly added the third goal and his second personal goal from a clear shot just 20 minutes before the end of the first half.

On the other hand, despite the several changes made by Comoros boss Amir Abdou in the starting line-up, Comoros failed to pose a real threat to the hosts in the first and second half.

Earlier, the national team recovered from the unexpected shocking draws with Kenya and Comoros in their first two matches in Group G, when they claimed two home and away victories over Togo.
