Egypt-Lebanese Publishing House Releases Azza Fahmy’s Autobiography

Egyptian-Lebanese (Al Masriya El Lebnaneia) Publishing House released leading jewelry designer Azza Fahmy’s new book entitled “Azza Fahmy’s Diaries, Endless Dreams.”

The new book tackles the success story of the famous designer, and her ways to beat all the hardships she faced in her life such as her father’s death and job quit, alongside the temptations she experienced in her early a designer and her life journey.

It also narrates the details of her journey starting from learning the basics of the industry in various workshops in Jews Ally (Harit Al Yahood), to establish her international trademark, in addition to her ideology of releasing Egyptian, and Arabic influenced designs.

It is worthy to mention that Fahmy is the owner and the Chairman of Azza Fahmy jewelry corporation. She is also a member of the Dubai Design and Fashion Council’s board of directors.

The leading designer worked as a trainee at Al Hasid workshop, and she opened her first store in 1981, after that she launched her chain of stores that is considered the first international Egyptian corporation dedicated to jewelry.

In 2013, she opened her studio and organized more than 200 exhibitions related to jewelry.

In 2016, Fahmy got her honorary doctorate degree from the American University in Cairo, and she was honoured by President Abdel Fattah Sisi in 2017.
